Grid Research in China and the Vega Grid Project at ICT

Abstract:
In this talk, the speaker will present an overview of grid research activities in China, covering projects sponsored by China Ministry of Science and Technology, China Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Natual Science Foundation of China, and Beijing and Shanghai governments. In additional, he will give a more technical introduction to the Vega Grid project conducted at Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
