Introduction
The Department of Computer Science aims to nurture broad-minded students with techniques and skills in computing and information systems. The Department emphasizes strongly on fundamental theories, pragmatic abilities as well as students’ global perspectives.
Organising study tour is a new initiative of the Department of Computer Science to provide our students more outreaching learning opportunities.
Objective
Through academic exchange, laboratory visits, field tours, corporate visits and cultural excursions, the programme is charged with the following objectives:
- To expose participants on the business environment of Asia;
- To provide COMP students with opportunities to interact with students from other universities and engage with potential student-based collaboration among the Universities; and
- To expose students to global practices of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
