Job Opening: Instructor I/II

Instructor I/II (PR047/11-12)

The Department of Computer Science, with 28 faculty members, presently offers BSc, MSc, MPhil, and PhD programmes. More information of the Department can be found at http://www.comp.hkbu.edu.hk.

The appointee is expected to assist in teaching some major core courses in Computer Science/Information Systems. Duties include: teaching material preparation, lecture delivery, leading tutorial groups and student group projects, and laboratory supervision. He/She is also expected to collaborate with other colleagues in teaching, and perform some administrative duties.

Applicants should possess a Master's Degree or above in computer science, information systems, or other related field. Prior teaching experience in tertiary institutions is a plus.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
