Overseas Summer Learning Experience for COMP BSc Students

COMP BSc students prepare to pursue postgraduate studies or participate in overseas activities and gain the international exposure experience this summer. They all enjoy fantastic moments in the energetic foreign cities.

Firstly, five COMP graduates will study postgraduate degrees aboard, including
  • GUO Honghao (2016 graduate) to Johns Hopkins University, USA;  
  • Luo Yue (2018 graduate) to New York University, USA;
  • Li Shiying (2018 graduate) to Brown University, USA; 
  • Sun Jingxuan (2018 graduate) to Cornell University, USA; and
  • Hu Junbo (2018 graduate) to the University of Rochester, USA.

Secondly, Nathan Ng Kwan Ho (2018 graduate) presented a short paper in the 23rd International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications, held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Last but not the least, Eric Pan Zhiqi (Computer Science, Year 4) is doing summer internship at Alibaba, the renowned Chinese Enterprise, in Hangzhou. He shared that he is happy to have a valuable opportunity for real application of knowledge gained from COMP.
