A new initiative by the Research Grants Council (RGC) in support of the Hong Kong Government's strategic move.
Outstanding applicants are recommended to apply for this scheme through the RGC's online application system (http://www.ugc.edu.hk/eng/rgc/index.htm) in August/September 2009.

Financial Support
HK$20,000 (HK$7.75=US$1) stipend per month, plus
HK$10,000 conference and research activity travel allowance per year, for three years, and
Financial support for a variety of research activities.
