Abstract
This paper introduces our recently developed methods in pattern recognition, including GA-Fisher, Perturbation LDA, Comparison of 1D-LDA and 2D-LDA, Pre-image Learning, Face Illumination Normalization and so on. From these methods and based on the fundamentals of pattern recognition, we illustrate how to find the scientific problems and how to model the problems mathematically.
