Smart, Interactive and Mobile -- Digital Innovation Technologies and Applications

Workshops on Mobile Apps

The workshops aim at introducing secondary school students basic skills for mobile apps development. Programming background is preferred but not necessary. Students with creativeness and strong interest in IT are welcomed to join. Students will be guided through to develop an interactive mobile game. After the workshops, students are expected to:
  • gain exposure and hands-on experience on mobile apps development
  • gain some basic ideas about computer game programming
Workshop 1 - Angry Bird Clone

Target Participants: Form 1 to Form 6 students
Description: Building your own "Angry Birds" using the "touch" interface.
Workshop 2 - The Forest Run

Target Participants: Form 3 to Form 6 students
Description: Building a "Temple Run" controlled by "movement sensor".

  • Each school is limited to register at most 5 students per workshop.
  • Approvals from the school, teacher in charge and all participants should be obtained before registering the workshop(s) on behalf of them.
