Kejing Yin, PhD Graduate and Post-doctoral Research Fellow of Department of Computer Science, was awarded honorable mention for the 2021 Hong Kong Young Scientist Award (Physical/Mathematical Science stream) at the 28th Annual Conference of Hong Kong Institution of Science.

Hong Kong Young Scientist Award, offered by Hong Kong Institution of Science, aims to reward young scientists and engineers in Hong Kong who show great promise in their field of study, with the hope that this will nurture the growth of science and technology in the region. This year, a total of 79 applications covering fields of Physical/Mathematical, Life and Engineering Science, were well received. After rigorous selection by professional panel, two award candidates in each stream were selected.
