Some 47 Year 1 students of the BSc (Hons) in Computing Studies (Information Systems) Programme paid a visit to the Information Technology Services Department and Operations Control Centre, Tsing Yi of the MTR Corporation on 3 November 2009. The students were introduced to the IT services, structure, information systems and technology adopted, job expectations, etc., followed by a guided tour to the control centre. Through the visit, they had a better understanding on the role of IT in the MTR Corporation.
