On 15 November 2011, our staff brought along 40 students of the BSc (Hons) in Computing Studies (Information Systems) Programme to visit the Data Centre of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) at Tseung Kwan O. After attending a briefing on the IT infrastructure of the data centre and IT services of HSBC and toured around the operation center, war room, mainframes and other staff facilities, all students were inspired on the challenges and opportunities of IT both in Hong Kong and around the globe.
