Prof. Jiming Liu, Head and Chair Professor of the Department, was awarded the
President's Award for Outstanding Performance in Scholarly Work as a recognition
of his being a very outstanding all-round scholar at the 51st Founders' Day
Thanksgiving Ceremony.
Also presented at the Ceremony were Long Service Awards to three colleagues of
the Department, viz. Prof. Y.W. Leung, Dr. Kelvin Wong and Mrs. Letty Kwok.
