Dr. Carmen Lam received Faculty Performance Award for Outstanding Performance in Teaching

Dr. Carmen Lam, Lecturer of the Department of Computer Science, was awarded the Faculty Performance Award for Outstanding Performance in Teaching 2017. The selection committee highly commends Dr. Lam’s outstanding performance in teaching which is exemplary in many ways. Overall, Dr. Lam is an all-round scholar who is keen to achieve perfection in every aspect of students’ learning experience.

Dr. Lam’s philosophy of teaching is to draw students’ attendance and attention, to help students achieve the learning outcomes in the course, and to support inspire and impact students beyond the class, the course and the university. She believes that motivating and engaging students attend the class is the first step of having good teaching and learning.
