由浸大計算機科學系與中國科學院研究所合辦的 ｢2017 IAPR/IEEE 生物特徵信息識別技術冬季學校」於2017年1月9至13日在浸大順利舉行。冬季學校吸引約50位來自世界各地的學者和研究生參與。
為期5天的冬季學校包含了講課、海報論文展示及聯誼等活動，為鞏固學員生物統計學的基本知識及最新發展，講課主題涵蓋移動生物識別，反電子欺騙，模板保護和不同生物統計的基礎。16位國際知名學者獲邀主講相對新穎及具挑戰性的題目，包括：
