Abstract
Over the last few years both the young and the old have become heavily dependent on mobile devices to enrich their lives. What is the impact of this trend on the development of children? How should we engage digital technology in bringing up children? Children are the future. While being a passionate advocate of technology for 25 years, I believe it is time to think deeply about the new kinds of connection we want to have. Technologies are shaping our modern relationships: with others, with ourselves, with it. This talk/workshop explores the issues of parenting and education for the 21st century in a digital world. Getting it right is vital to our humanity
