We are proud to announce that the team supported by our Department has won the final National Second Prize!
Being the only team amongst Hong Kong's tertiary institutions, the HKBU "Lion Rock" Team formed by the students of the Computer Science Department, together with the students of other Faculty/School, had won in the South East region and entered the final (national) round of a Website Competition.
The Website Competition 「網易·全國高校2008觀方站」 requires the participating institutions to develop a website on news about the Beijing Olympics 2008. After one month of competition in the first round, the four tertiary institutions in different regions of Mainland China with the highest scores were able to enter the final (national) round of competition held in August 2008.
