Celebrating Academic Success: Computer Science Graduates Embark on Promising Postgraduate Journeys

The Department of Computer Science proudly announces that eight graduates from the Class of 2025 will continue to pursue postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the University of Michigan, the University of California San Diego, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the State University of New York at Binghamton. This milestone achievement highlights the Department's dedication to cultivating academic excellence and equipping students for success in highly competitive global landscapes.

“My undergraduate journey in Computer Science (CS) at HKBU has been immensely rewarding. I am grateful for professors who inspire critical thinking, rigorous problem-solving skills, and resilience, igniting my passion for research in computer science,” remarked by graduate Taixi Chen, who will embark on postgraduate study at the State University of New York.

Fellow graduate Gengyang Xu, who is set to pursue further studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, shared, “Studying at HKBU has been an extraordinary privilege. The Department provides numerous opportunities, including the exchange programme at TUM and summer research at the University of Chicago, which have significantly broadened my international perspective and are crucial for my future development.”
