The award presentation ceremony of the Second Computational Finance Competition, co-organised by Global eSolutions HK Limited (GES) and this society, was held on 22-Dec-2018 at HKBU. Mr. Jeffrey Lo (GES) first gave an opening speech and it was followed by Dr. Alvin Kwan (IEEE) who explained the significance of the competition.

Over 49 students from local universities joined the competition, and 14 students from 8 teams were eventually shortlisted for compliance with the competition rules. Dr. Ken So (GES Quant Team) gave a review of the competition, the strategies adopted by the teams, and recommendations for future contestants.

Finally, the 8 shortlisted teams received a certificate of participation, and then the winners of the competition were invited to the floor to receive the awards.
