RTCSA/CPSNA/NVMSA 2015 Registration Policy

Registration for and participation are subject to this Registration Policy. By submitting your registration for RTCSA / CPSNA / NVMSA 2015, you will be considered to have agreed to this Registration Policy.

Interpretation
1. RTCSA 2015 refers to the 21st IEEE International Conference on Embedded and Real-time Computing Systems and Applications
2. CPSNA 2015 refers to IEEE International Conference on Cyber-Physical Systems, Networks, and Applications
3. NVMSA 2015 refers to the 4th IEEE Non-Volatile Memory System and Applications Symposium

The above conferences will be held August 19-21 2015 at Hong Kong Baptist University. The Organising Committees (OC) of the above have appointed Momentous Asia Travel & Events Company Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, as Conference Registration office.

Procedure
All participants must register for the Conference. Each accepted paper will require one distinct full registration on or before June 12, 2015 June 19, 2015 11:59pm GMT-12 in order to present in the conference. Registration can be made online via the Official Website.

Momentous Asia will acknowledge receipt of registrations. As a principle, registrations are processed on a first come, first served basis. Once capacity is reached, any further registrations are put on a waiting list. The OC will review registrations with a view to ensure appropriate representation from the targeted audience. The OC will promptly notify the persons whose registrations could not be accepted. In any event, confirmation of registration is conditional upon full payment.

Registration Fees
Registration fees are set out on the official conference website. The registration fee for a participant includes participation in the conference, access to the conference, one copy of conference publications, and scheduled meals. Registration fees and any other related fees and charges are nett of any taxes, such as, but not limited to, VAT (when applicable).

Payment method
The conference accepts payment for registration by credit card, electronic transfer or Hong Kong Dollars cheque. If you prefer to pay by electronic transfer or cheque, please indicate your intention to do so in the registration form.

Event cancellation, Postponement or Alternation
If, for any reason whatsoever, the OC is forced to cancel, postpone or materially alter programmes of the above conferences, in whole or in part, it will use all reasonable efforts to notify all registered participants reasonably in advance thereof.

Event Rules and Regulations
Whilst participating in the above conferences, you are required to comply with any policies or directions (such as but not limited to security and Health and Safety regulations) in force at the time of the event, given by or for the OC or any relevant third party, including the person responsible for the premises where the Conference takes place or any competent authority.

For security reasons, the Conference will supply name badges. You must wear your badge at all times. Your badge is strictly personal and may not be transferred to another person or modified.

The OC accepts no responsibility for any belongings you may bring to the Conference. Bringing such belongings is at your own risk.

Data Protection
The OC may process, and instruct the Registration Office to process personal data supplied during your registration for the above conferences for purposes relating to Conference registration (including securing your event registration, hotel registration and local destination management), administration, security management, accounting, record keeping, to offer the OC related facilities (such as delegate list) and services, and, more generally, for the exercise of the OC’s obligations, rights and remedies.

You acknowledge and agree that, where the OC sub-contracts these tasks to an external supplier, this may involve the transfer of your personal data to a third party.

If you provide the personal data of another person, you shall ensure that (i) that person has been fully informed about the OC’s right to process such personal data as set out here in and (ii) such personal data are collected and supplied in accordance with applicable legislation and without infringing such person’s or any third party rights.

Each participant has the right to consult and correct its personal data by addressing a request to the organiser’s office at .

Photographs and videos
The OC reserves the right to photograph and videotape all conference events and participants and to use such photographs and videos in any internal and external communication referring to the OC, such as on its websites and internet. You hereby consent to such uses.

Indemnity
You acknowledge and agree that you will indemnify the OC against any damages incurred by the OC as a result of a third party claim arising from your conference registration or participation, except to the extent such damages were caused by the OC.

Liability
The OC’s potential liability in connection with the above conferences (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) is limited to the total amount of your registration fee. Furthermore, any claim for indirect, special or consequential loss or damage of any kind or for any loss of business or profit, revenue, anticipated savings, contracts, loss of a corruption to data, loss of use, loss of goodwill, interruption of business or claims of other parties or other similar pecuniary loss howsoever arising, even if the OC has been advised of their possibility, is expressly excluded.

To have a valid claim against the OC relating to your registration or participation, you must notify the OC within 3 months after the conference ending date. You agree to exonerate the OC from any liability relating to claims notified after that time limit.

Applicable law and dispute resolution
This registration policy, and more generally, all matters relating to registration for or participating in the above conferences shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
