Submissions

The submitted manuscript must describe original work not previously published and not concurrently submitted elsewhere. Submissions should be no more than 10 pages (for Full Papers) and 8 pages (for Short Papers) in the IEEE conference proceedings format (two-column, single-space, 10pt). Conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.


Final Paper Submission Information
The deadline for camera ready is June 10th, 2014. Papers (including Full Papers and Short Papers) accepted by RTCSA 2014 will appear in the supplementary conference proceedings of RTCSA 2014 and in the IEEE Xplore. This page contains information for preparing and submitting the camera-ready papers.

Requirements


  1. Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.

  2. The camera-ready paper is prepared according to the IEEE Xplore compatible PDF format, they must pass the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus check.

  3. The paper does not exceed the page limits: 10 pages for Full Papers, and 8 pages for Short Papers. A maximum of two additional pages per paper is allowed at $50 USD per page, which will be added to the registration fee.

  4. Papers must be submitted by the Deadline Date.

  5. An Author Registration is required for registering a paper, and each paper needs an unique Author Registration. Please follow the Registration page. All the accepted papers, including Full Papers and Short Papers, must be presented by the authors in the conference. Failure to do so will result in automatic withdrawal of your paper from the conference proceedings, and will not be included in IEEE Xplore or indexed by EI.

The IEEE Xplore Compliance
To ensure that the submitted final PDF files are IEEE Xplore compliant, they must pass the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus check. Authors have to log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus system. The conference ID is 33059XP.

Renaming your PDF File for Submission
The certified acceptable file you receive from IEEE PDF eXpress Plus will be given a filename in the form PID123456.pdf. You should rename the file to conform to the form of  paperID_lastname.pdf  before submission, where lastname is the last name of the first author, and paperID is the paper ID assigned to the submission by RTCSA.


Uploading Final Paper
If the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus check has been passed, log in to your IEEE PDF eXpress Plus account again, and approve your PDF for collection.

IEEE Copyright Form Submission
Please download and complete the IEEE copyright form, and return the signed form in pdf format by email: rtcsa2014.copyright@gmail.com. This copyright release form MUST be COMPLETED when you are submitting your paper. Failure to do so will render the paper inadmissible for publication in IEEE Xplore, and the paper will subsequently be removed from the proceedings.
1. Download the IEEE copyright form:  Copyright Form (pdf)   Copyright Form (doc).
2. Fill in the paper title and the names of all the authors.
3. In the "IEEE Publication Title" please type "2014 IEEE 20th International Conference on Embedded and Real-Time Computing Systems and Applications (RTCSA)"
4. Sign (put your signature) in the space for "Author/Authorized Agent for Joint Authors" or in the space for "Authorized Signature". Type your name below the signature.
5. Type the date in the "Date" field.
6. If applicable, the "U.S. Government Employee Certification" and the "Crown Copyright Certification" should also be filled and signed.
7. Scan the signed form to PDF format, save as CR_paperID.pdf, and send it by email to rtcsa2014.copyright@gmail.com, where paperID is the paper ID assigned to the submission by RTCSA.
