Methodology

1. A HKBU student finds cultural differences from Kyoto
   • Obtain insight by comparing between Kyoto and Hong Kong
   
   
2. A KU student finds characteristics of Kyoto from the HKBU students’ insights
   • Obtain insight from the counterparts’ insights
   • Analyze environmental and cultural factors that cause the differences
   
   
3. A student forcibly creates ideas using the cultural differences
   • Create a green solution based on the cultural differences

Workshop 2 at Hong Kong: Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Methodology

1. All students understand each other’s expertise
   • Obtain insight by different thinking angle from students with different expertise
   
   
2. Test the acceptability of previous proposals created in Kyoto by analysis the local Hong Kong culture
   • Obtain insight by local field trip, mini seminars
   
   
3. Tune and propose the improved solutions based on different expertise and local culture
   • Create a comprehensive solution based on the different expertise
