Scholarship

The HKBU-UNIPG Italy Workshop Internship Programme is listed as an eligible programme for the HKSAR Government Reaching Out Award (ROA) 2021-22.

You are welcome to apply for the Reaching Out Award, which is at HK$10,000 each or the actual spending amount (whichever is lower). It will be awarded to current full-time undergraduate students studying in any discipline (UGC-funded programmes only) who:

1. participate in the HKBU-UNIPG Italy Workshop Internship Programme 2022;
2. have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above after semester 1, 2021/22;(the higher the GPA, the better; there were past instances that students with GPA 3.0 did not get the scholarship) ; and
3. agree to submit a reflection report on the activities participated and the learning experiences and benefits acquired in the form of essay of at least 2,000 words for English or 1,000 words for Chinese and with 3 photos to HKBU within 1 month upon completion of the outreaching programmes.

Each student can submit only ONE application with one outreaching programme. Change of programme after form submission is normally not allowed. Applicant’s admission to the outreaching programme must be confirmed before 20 April 2022, the application deadline. The online application platform will be closed automatically at 5:30pm of 20 April 2022 (Wednesday). Applicants should submit the online form before the closing time. * A student will only be awarded the ROA once throughout his/her studies of the relevant programme.
