Undergraduate Scholarship in Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science offers Undergraduate Scholarships to students admitted to the BSc (Hons) in Computer Science via JUPAS at an amount of up to HK$12,000 per student, under the following criteria:
- The selection criteria of the scholarship are based on HKDSE results and interview performance. To qualify for scholarship interview, the student should achieve grade 5* or above of either Mathematics or Information and Communication Technology in HKDSE, and good academic progress in our programme.
or
- The Student should have strong commitment to developing career in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry; achieving A- grade or above in "Essence of Computing"; and attaining a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above at the end of Year 1 study.
Remark: The scholarship is provided by our Department to support the pursuit of our degree programmes.
Scholarship for Computer Science Non-JUPAS School Recommendation Scheme
The Department of Computer Science offers a number of scholarships of up to $42,000 each to newly admitted students through the Non-JUPAS School Recommendation Scheme with outstanding academic performance in their associate degree/higher diploma programme and good interview performance.
Remark: The scholarship is provided by our Department to support the pursuit of our degree programmes.

Remarks: |
- This scholarship will be awarded in each semester and applications are not required. It is provided by our Department to support the pursuit of our degree programmes.
- Candidates with minor deviations from the criteria may also be considered.

Undergraduate Overseas Summer Research Scholarship Scheme
The Scholarship aims to support students who plan to have graduate study overseas to attach to an overseas research laboratory for 4-8 weeks (Year 3 summer) at an amount up to HK$15,000 per student to support the air ticket and accommodation expenses. Students should meet the following requirements:
- attaining a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above at the end of Year 2 study
- attaining satisfactory performance after engaging in a research project under the supervision of an academic staff for at least one semester to pick up fundamental knowledge and skills in the respective research field
Applicants are encouraged to apply for summer research scheme near the end of Year 2 study.
