The 7th International Workshop on Intelligent Data Processing

Co-located with IEEE AIKE 2018

This workshop aims to gather experts and scholars from related fields to present and share their recent research on intelligent data processing. The purpose of IDP is to provide a forum for discussion and interaction among researchers with interests in the cutting edge techniques of intelligent data processing mechanisms. Participants are invited to submit papers in all areas of data- and knowledge-based approaches, particularly in the areas of Big Data and Online Social Networks. Improving data processing efficiency has attracted much attention from various research communities. Researchers in related fields are facing the challenges of data explosion, which demands enormous manpower for data processing. Artificial intelligence and intelligent systems offer efficient mechanisms that can significantly reduce the costs of processing large volume data and improve data processing quality. Practical applications have been developed in different areas including health informatics, financial data analysis, geographic systems, automated manufacturing processes, etc. Proposed length of the workshop: Half-day.

Submission Instructions

Authors are invited to submit a 4 to 6 pages manuscript in double-column IEEE format.
Manuscripts must be written in English and follow the instructions in the IEEE Manuscript Formatting and Templates
All paper submissions will be carefully reviewed and reviews will be returned to the author(s) with comments to ensure the high quality of the accepted papers.
The authors of the accepted papers must guarantee that their paper(s) will be presented at the workshop.
Please only submit original material where copyright of all the parts is owned by the authors and which is not currently under review elsewhere. Please see the IEEE policies for further information.
Note: Every accepted paper will be published in the proceedings of the main conference. At-least one author of every accepted paper must register at the full member/nonmember rate. Thus, for a paper for which all authors are students, one student author will be required to register at the full registration rate. Failure to do so will result in removal of your paper from the conference proceedings. Workshop papers allow up to 2 extra pages with $150 per extra page.

Submissions should be sent to workshop organizers at the address: csyxli@comp.hkbu.edu.hk
