Education Meets the Real World: A Beautiful Afternoon at HSBC

The Year 1 students of the BSc (Hons) in Computing Studies (Information Systems) Programme visited the new Data Centre of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) at Tseung Kwan O on 28 October 2008. They were introduced to the IT services provided by HSBC, followed by a tour of the Data Centre and a meeting with the HKBU alumni working there. The visit has brought fruitful experience to the students who can gain a better understanding of the IT workplace and the career outlook at a large enterprise.
