Industry/Demo-Track Submissions |
|
The 2004 IEEE/WIC/ACM International
Conference on Intelligent Agent
Technology and Web Intelligence (IAT-WI'04) is a premiere event for the Intelligent Agent
and Web Intelligence community. The field has
experienced rapid growth both from the academia and
industry. The industry and demo track of the conference aims
to bring together people from both academia and industry in
a venue that highlights application and practical impact. |
|
We invite both industry papers and
demonstration papers in this program. The papers will be
featured in the main conference proceedings. More
importantly, the demonstrations will be highlighted in
specially arranged venues at the conferences, where all
attendees from the conference are able to participate. |
|
Industry
Paper Requirement |
|
All areas of the IAT/WI conference are of
interest to the industry papers. The paper should be about
industrial or other real-world applications of IAT/WI. A
description of how the application has been conceived,
developed and deployed must be provided. Note that authors
who submit papers to the Industry-Track are requested to
supply a demo in the demo session. The authors are also
required to show the demo in the demo session. |
|
The industry papers will be 4 pages in
length including the bibliography, and must be submitted
online at the conference websites. The submission must
satisfy the style requirement as specified in the call for
papers in the main conference. At least one author of each
Industry-Track paper should be from an industrial company or
organization. |
|
The papers must indicate which track (IAT
or WI) the authors would like to include their papers. All
papers submitted to the Industry/Demo-Track will also be
reviewed by the Program Committee and included in the
conference proceedings by the IEEE Computer Society Press. |
|
Demonstration Paper Requirement |
|
Participants who are interested in
presenting a demo in the conference can submit a
demonstration paper to the Demonstration-Track. The paper
can be authored by people from either industry or academia. |
|
The demonstration papers will be 2 pages
in length including the bibliography, and must be submitted
online at the conference website.
The submission must satisfy the style requirement as
specified in the call for papers in the main conference. The
submission will be included in the proceedings. Note that
authors of industry papers (also research-track papers) do
not need to submit a separate demonstration proposal because
it will be included as stated previously. Authors who submit
papers to the Demonstration-Track are requested to supply a
demo and join the demo session. |
