Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) was founded in 1956 and it is the second oldest university in Hong Kong. It is funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government. The University is committed to: i) academic excellence in teaching, research and service, and ii) providing quality whole-person education. The University has about 12,188 students enrolled in programmes of all levels, including 50 undergraduate programmes, 60 taught postgraduate programmes, and research programmes leading to MPhil and PhD. The University has excellent and diversified facilities (e.g., library with about one million of books and subscription to about 220,489 e-journals, computer laboratories with excellent hardware and software, sport centers and swimming pools, medical and dental clinics, etc.).
