BSc (Hons) in Computer Science aims to equip students with a solid computing foundation, preparing them to pursue professional careers in the field of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or further academic pursuits through postgraduate study. This programme focuses on innovations in computing technologies and information systems, and their applications to real-world challenges. It consists of four areas of concentration:
* The Department offers Admission Scholarships to Computer Science Undergraduates. Students who are admitted via JUPAS can receive up to HK$12,000, while students admitted via Non-JUPAS can receive up to HK$42,000 per student.

The Double Concentration (DC) options for the BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, effective from the 2024-25 academic year, are designed to provide students with diverse learning pathways and expand their academic horizons.
Recognised by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), the concentrations of CST, ISA and AI and double concentrations (CST+DMC, ISA+DMC, AI+DMC) programme have been granted full accreditation, please click here for more details.
Solid curriculum referenced with IEEE and ACM recommended curricula. The curriculum is designed with reference to the international IEEE and ACM model curriculums to ensure Computer Science and Information Systems training of international standard. Students will be well-prepared for both working in industry or pursuing postgraduate study in Hong Kong and other countries.
To equip students with practical industry experience, Students can undertake a summer internship or a 1-Year Placement at an IT-related organisation after completing their third year of study. These placements enrich students' learning experience within a professional setting.
To broaden students' international perspectives, the Department offers a range of outreach initiatives. These include summer study tours, overseas summer internships, one-semester or one-year international exchanges, and summer research programme, developing students’ cross-cultural competencies

In 2023, 70.1% of BSc (Hons) Computer Science graduates engaged in employment, 11.49% furthered their studies and 11.49% emigrated or returned to home country.
