The Department was glad to welcome around 100 undergraduate freshmen to join our big family at the Orientation Night held on 23 September 2022. The incoming students were warmly welcomed by the Faculty members, the Computer Science Society, senior students and alumni. Senior students also took the opportunity to share with the freshmen about their wonderful outreach experiences provided by the Department. Award Presentation was also held to present the awards to the outstanding students and Peer tutors of 2022/23 were introduced. We sincerely wish that all the freshmen to have a brilliant new chapter of life in the university.

Peer Tutor Programme
Peer Tutor Programme has been established in the Department since 2007/08, aiming to assist the freshmen in adapting to the University life and to tutor them in their studies. In 2022/23, 20 Peer Tutors are recruited to assist in the mentoring activities conducted by the Department.
