On 27 September 2024, over 40 alumni and faculty members came together for a reunion and networking evening. This enjoyable dinner marked the first event organised by the new Executive Committee of the Department of Computer Science Alumni Association.
The gathering provided a wonderful opportunity for CSers to reconnect, reflect on their shared experiences, and enjoy both laughter and heartfelt moments. “It was great to see so many familiar faces. We will organise more gatherings in the future to continue strengthening the bonds among CS alumni,” shared Sincere Tsang, President of the Alumni Association Committee.
Professor Jianliang Xu, Head and Chair Professor of the Department, remarked, “This gathering is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our alumni and demonstrate the close-knit relationship between the department and our graduates. The joyful evening concluded with a group photo, capturing the happiness felt throughout the night.
