On 30 October 2024, Mr. Hing-loi Hui, Chief Systems Manager of Clinical Systems Architecture and Development at the Hospital Authority (HA), delivered an insightful presentation on the latest developments in Health Informatics in Hong Kong.
His presentation focused on the Clinical Management System at HA, addressing critical topics such as the challenges of Electronic Health Record interoperability, strategies for enhancing cluster-wide monitoring, and implementation of automation technologies. He also articulated HA's vision for integrating Artificial Intelligence into Smart Hospital initiatives. Following his presentation, students engaged in lively discussions, deepening their understanding of the practical applications of health informatics. This dynamic exchange broadened their horizons and inspired them to address healthcare challenges with innovative solutions.
