Dr. Bo Han Awarded Tencent Rhino-Bird Focused Research Program for Machine Learning Research

A research project led by Dr. Bo Han entitled “Towards Reliable, Robust and Invariant Deep Graph Learning with Application to Drug Discovery” was awarded by Tencent AI Lab Rhino-Bird Focused Research Program 2022, supported by Tencent AI Lab Rhino-Bird Gift Fund.

“It is my great honor to receive this competitive award. Artificial Intelligence is an indispensable part of our future development. I and my research team will try to explore the trustworthy deep graph learning framework with application to real-world drug discovery in this awarded project,” said Dr. Han, Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science.

Launched in 2017, Tencent AI Lab Rhino-Bird Focused Research Program aims to support elite researchers all over the world to identify and work on challenging research problems in AI, especially in the research fields of machine learning in life sciences, deep reinforcement learning in robotics, computer vision & graphics, natural language processing, and speech technology. This year, a total of 23 projects came to the fore through a rigorous review process.
