With the understanding that freshmen often encounter difficulties in adapting to University life, our Department has been operating a Peer Tutor Programme for which peer tutors are aligned with groups of freshmen to provide them with useful advices in tackling academic / other problems. On 16 September 2011, all peer tutors in the 2011 batch were introduced to new students in the 2011 Orientation Night. The Department believes that the peer tutors will continue to play an important role in helping new students in adapting to University life and building up a sense of belonging to the Computer Science Department.
