The Department extended the warmest welcome to the freshmen by organizing the Orientation Night on 11 September 2014. The Head, Associate Head and Programme Coordinators gave speeches to encourage the young incoming students to catch every opportunity provided by the University to get a bright future. Mr. Moss Zhao, the alumni who was awarded full scholarship to pursue PhD at Oxford University, shared with the new faces about his inspiring story. After the speeches, the freshmen were divided into corresponding mentoring groups to meet their staff mentor and peer tutor. It was a wonderful start to the new academic year.
