AI in Healthcare Webinar on EHR Analytics

Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong Baptist University in collaboration with Institute of Health IT, Hospital Authority, launched an IHIT x HKBU AI in Healthcare Webinar series to introduce how AI can be incorporated to revolutionize a wide range of healthcare services. The webinar series is also organized in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Faculty of Science, HKBU.

Dr. William Cheung, Head and Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, delivered the first Webinar of the series on “Integrating EHR Data and Medical Ontologies for Predictive Analytics in Healthcare” on 14 December 2020. In the Webinar, Dr. Cheung presented how EHR data and ontologies could be integrated using data analytics and artificial intelligence techniques for related predictive analytics tasks. The webinar attracted around 400 audiences and was full of constructive interaction.
