Application Process
The Scheme will call for application in early September every year.
An initial application must be made through the Online Application System at the RGC's website (
https://cerg1.ugc.edu.hk/hkpfs/InitApplication.jsp).
After you obtain the official reference number from the RGC Online Application System, you may apply to HKBU via the
Graduate School Online Application System. Each applicant may choose up to two programmes. If you need Academic Referee’s Report Form, please
click here.
The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship application is also regarded as a formal application for regular PhD admission to HKBU, and applicants are therefore required to fully comply with HKBU's admission requirements. Applicants who are not selected for the Fellowship Scheme will be considered as regular application.
